Crash Site
Jungle wreckageBroken steel and dense cover, cut through by dangerous sightlines.
ROS Legacy matches take place on two maps, and the Windows launch named seven combat zones. The match picker in the client offers Ghillie, which installs with the game, and The Fiord, which needs its own download from its map card. The seven zones run from the Crash Site wreckage to the waterline of Oasis, each with its own terrain and style of fight.
Artwork from the Myth Games page survives for four zones; the images for The Slums, Frostfall and Iron Town were lost when that page went offline. Pick a thumbnail or use the arrows to enlarge one.
Myth Games listed every zone with a number, a setting and a one-line combat note when ROS Legacy launched on Windows in August 2026. The notes describe how fights play out in each area, which is the best guide to where your loadout fits.
Broken steel and dense cover, cut through by dangerous sightlines.
Tight alleys reward fast reactions and close-range loadouts.
A shattered city where every open crossing is a risk.
Long-range encounters across exposed, elevated ground.
Low cover, rooftop angles and punishing rotations.
Industrial lanes built for ambushes and squad pushes.
Take the waterline early, before the shrinking circle forces contact.
The match picker shows the two maps side by side. Ghillie is ready to queue right after installing; The Fiord carries a download button on its card, so the first queue on it starts with an extra download.
The first Rules of Survival map, and the ROS Legacy map card that needs no extra download.
The larger second map, shown as The Fiord in the picker, which came back to ROS Legacy in early September 2026.
Named towns inside Ghillie Island and Fearless Fiord, such as Bitter Lake, Observatory and Rust Bay, come from the original 2017–2022 game. Fan wikis collect them as preparation material, but ROS Legacy has not published a town list of its own, so older drop-spot guides are a starting point rather than a promise.
Rules of Survival entered beta with Ghillie Island as its first map.
NetEase launched Rules of Survival worldwide.
The original servers shut down, taking both maps offline.
The Myth Games page listed the seven ROS Legacy combat zones.
Creators showed Fearless Fiord running in ROS Legacy.
Open the match picker and select The Fiord card. It carries a download button, so the map data downloads separately from the main client before you can queue. Ghillie needs no extra step because it ships with the installer. Fearless Fiord has been back in the game since early September 2026.
Not as far as the client shows. The match picker lists only Ghillie and The Fiord, and none of its cards or downloads carries the name Crash Site, The Slums, Frostfall, Highlands, Dust Quarter, Iron Town or Oasis. Myth Games presented the seven as combat zones with their own terrain, not as queues.
The only published sizes come from the original Rules of Survival: Ghillie Island measured 4.8 km × 4.8 km for 120 players and Fearless Fiord 8 km × 8 km for 300. ROS Legacy matches drop 100 players, and no new map dimensions have been announced.
