How to Register a ROS Legacy Account

ROS Legacy has no sign-up screen of its own: the game logs you in with a Mirae Labs account. The Register Now button on the official site opens the Mirae Labs register page, where you pick a username, enter an e-mail address and a password and give your birthdate. Signing in and resetting a forgotten password happen on the same Mirae Labs pages, and none of them ask for anything from the original Rules of Survival.

Create a Mirae Labs account

The form takes one pass. Register with an inbox you can open today, because the e-mail address is the only way back in if you forget the password.

Open the register page

Reach mirae-labs.com/register through the Register Now button rather than a search result or a link in a chat, so the form you fill in is the real Mirae Labs one.

Choose a username

Use 3 to 12 letters and numbers. Spaces, underscores and other symbols are refused, so a name like Fiord_Sniper fails while FiordSniper2 passes.

Set e-mail and password

The e-mail address can be up to 254 characters. The password needs 8 to 64 characters with at least one upper-case letter, one lower-case letter and one digit, typed twice.

Add your birthdate

Month, day and year are all required before the Create account button submits. Write the username and e-mail down together; either one signs you in later.

The sign-in form accepts either the e-mail address or the username, together with the password. Both lead to the same Mirae Labs ID, so a forgotten username is not a problem as long as you still control the e-mail.

Once you are in, the client opens on the lobby: your player profile, the Store, Supply, Manual, Platoon and Depot menus, links to Lucky Club, Welfare, data, competition and Settings, and the START button that sends you into matchmaking.

Recover a forgotten password

Open the reset page

Follow Forgot your password on the sign-in form. It leads to mirae-labs.com/reset-password.

Enter the account e-mail

Type the address you registered with. The reset link only goes to that inbox, so look in the spam folder before requesting another one.

Pick a strong new password

Choose one that also meets the register rule of 8 to 64 characters with upper case, lower case and a digit, then sign in with it on every device.

Reinstalling ROS Legacy does not reset a password. Deleting the game only removes files from your PC or phone; the account and its password stay with Mirae Labs.

Old Rules of Survival logins

NetEase accounts from the original game, which closed on 27 June 2022, do not carry over. Create a new Mirae Labs ID even if you still remember your old login.

ROS: Origin is a different game

ROS: Origin is a separate revival by Obsidian Games and uses Obsidian Games accounts, so its logins and Mirae Labs IDs are not interchangeable.

Pages offline on 31 October

On 31 October 2026 mirae-labs.com and roslegacy.net both answered with a not-found error while the download links kept working.

Checks to try

Username refused

Remove spaces, underscores and symbols and keep the name between 3 and 12 characters. If a name is rejected again, change the digits instead of adding punctuation.

Password refused

Count 8 to 64 characters, include an upper-case letter, a lower-case letter and a digit, and make sure both password boxes hold exactly the same text.

Turn off Caps Lock, check the keyboard layout and try the e-mail address in place of the username. If it still fails, reset the password instead of registering a second ID.

Page will not load

Wait for news on the official Discord server or Facebook page. Never type your password into a lookalike domain or a form someone posts in a chat.

Account questions

Do I need to confirm my e-mail address?

Reported sign-ups went through without a confirmation message. Register a real address anyway: the reset link for a forgotten password is sent to the e-mail on the account through mirae-labs.com/reset-password, and there is no other documented way to recover it.

Can I use my old Rules of Survival account?

No. NetEase's Rules of Survival shut down in June 2022 and its accounts were never moved to ROS Legacy. Every player needs a fresh Mirae Labs ID from the register page that the official Register Now button opens, with a username of 3 to 12 letters and numbers.

Do I sign in with my username or my e-mail?

Either one works. The Mirae Labs sign-in form takes the e-mail address or the username together with the password, so if you forget which username you picked, the e-mail still reaches the same account. If the password is the problem instead, use Forgot your password on the same form.

Why does the form ask for my birthdate?

The register form will not submit without a full birthdate. The ROS Legacy player terms require players to meet the minimum age in their country or to have a parent or guardian's consent, so enter your real date of birth.
