ROS Legacy runs Aegis Anti-Cheat, which checks the game files and your session for changes, watches for cheat tools and hands detections over for enforcement. The rules behind it arrived with the Windows launch in August 2026: an Anti-Cheat Policy with six banned tool categories and five penalties, Community Guidelines for behaviour in matches and chat, and an EULA in which every player agrees to file and process checks. All 29 rules are grouped below, together with what each penalty means and how to appeal a ban.
Aegis is the fair-play system named on the Windows launch page, and its emblem carries the name Aegis HackShield. Detections are reviewed by people as well as by the automatic checks, and the EULA lists what the client may inspect on your PC.
The privacy policy lists gameplay and anti-cheat logs among the data it collects, next to your username, e-mail, IP address and device details, and states that personal data is not sold.
Each rule keeps the wording of the policy it belongs to, and the tag on every row names that policy.
Players look up cheat tools by name. The policy does not name any product, but each tool below falls into a banned category, and so does passing it on to someone else.
| What players search | What it does | Banned under |
|---|---|---|
| Wallhack or ESP | Shows enemies through walls by reading game memory or altering game files. | Memory scanners and trainers; process injection and file tampering |
| Scripts and no-key script loaders | Cheat code pushed into the running client, usually passed around as free downloads. | Process injection; distributing cheats; spreading malware or phishing links |
| GameGuardian | An Android memory editor that changes values inside a running game. | Memory scanners, Cheat Engine, trainers and debuggers |
| Macros and auto-clickers | Input automation that shoots, loots or moves for you. | Macros, auto-clickers, bots and gameplay automation |
| Lag switches and packet tools | Programs that delay or rewrite network traffic for an advantage. | Packet manipulation or network exploits |
| HWID spoofers | Tools that fake a device's hardware identity to slip past a ban. | Virtual-machine or hardware-identity evasion |
Trying a tool once to see whether Aegis reacts is not a loophole: the policy counts any attempt to test or evade the anti-cheat as an offence of its own.
Each policy lists its own penalties. Which one applies depends on how serious the violation is, your history and the risk to other players.
| Policy | Possible outcomes |
|---|---|
| Anti-Cheat Policy | Immediate disconnection, a temporary or permanent ban, removal from rankings, cancelled rewards, restrictions on related accounts or devices, clan penalties |
| Community Guidelines | Content removal, warnings, mutes, kicks, temporary restrictions or permanent bans |
| EULA | Disconnection, account suspension, device restriction or permanent loss of access |
| Terms of Service | A warning, mute, suspension, account reset or ban |
A ban can reach beyond one account. Lending your login, or playing on a PC or phone where someone else runs cheats, puts your own access at risk because restrictions can follow linked accounts and devices.
The policy asks for a concise message. Say what happened, when it happened and why you believe the action was a mistake.
Include the username and e-mail address of your Mirae Labs account, your platform and the date and time of the ban. Never send your password or a reset link.
The August 2026 policy took appeals at support@mythgames.net. Sending the same appeal again and again can get it closed without an answer, so make the first message complete.
That address belongs to Myth Games, and the game moved to Mirae Labs in September 2026 without a replacement appeal route being posted. Ask in the official ROS Legacy Discord, the community channel linked from roslegacy.net, before you write.
The Terms of Service make you responsible for everything done on your account, so a friend who cheats while signed in as you gets your account banned.
Accounts, currency and items may not be sold for real money outside approved systems. Virtual items are licensed to you and have no cash value.
The EULA forbids modifying or decompiling the client. Skip unofficial patches, replacement DLLs and repacked installers, and install from the official links only.
Found a duplication trick or a serious bug? Report it rather than using it or posting how it works; knowingly exploiting bugs is a Play fairly violation.
Yes. ROS Legacy is protected by Aegis Anti-Cheat, whose emblem reads Aegis HackShield. It checks the integrity of your game files and session, watches for cheat tools and gameplay manipulation, and passes detections on for enforcement, with human review next to the automatic checks.
Yes, both are covered. GameGuardian edits game memory, which falls under the ban on memory scanners and trainers, and injected scripts fall under process injection and file tampering. Penalties start at disconnection and go up to permanent bans and device restrictions.
Yes. Macros, auto-clickers, bots and any other gameplay automation head the Anti-Cheat Policy's strictly prohibited list, and the EULA repeats the ban on bots and macros. Hardware or software that fires inputs for you puts the account at risk.
Yes. Write one concise appeal with your account details and send it to the address in the appeal steps above. Repeated appeals can be closed without an answer, so make the first message complete: what happened, when, and on which platform.
